Franklin "Butch" Peery Obituary Franklin “Butch” Peery, 68, of Salem went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2024. Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Betty Peery.Butch was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, and fishing. He cherished his time spent with his grandsons, including going to their sporting events. He was also a member of Fellowship Community Church where he attended faithfully.Those left here on earth to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Robyn Aesy Peery; children, Luke Peery (Megan), and Meaghan Keys (Kenneth); brother, Rik Peery (Monica); grandchildren, Landen Peery, Liam McClammer, and Laithen Keys; nephews, Cade Peery, Bryce Gannon, and Korey Gannon; and numerous other extended family members.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 4th from 12 until 2 pm with a memorial service directly following at 2 pm. Pastor Ken Nienke will officiate the service. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice, and the nursing staff on three west at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
