Fred Gerald Harless

Fred Gerald Harless of Wytheville Virginia passed away at home on October 25,2022 with family at his bedside.
Jerry leaves behind his wife Beth Thomas Harless, son Todd R. Harless and grandson Christopher J. Harless along with sisters Shelby Ingram of Forest Virginia and Deloris Harless of Salem Virginia. He also leaves behind good friends Danny Moran and family, James and Jeanne Womble, Robbie and Becky Witcher, and Frankie Overstreet. He leaves Barney the cat and Sophia his dog.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Fred Maxwell Harless and Pauline Bostic and son Fred C. Harless.
Jerry was a long time employee of Associated Asphalt in Roanoke.  He served in the United States Coast Guard.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia, 1155 N. 4th Street, Wytheville, Virginia.
There will be a Memorial Visitation held at Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, Virginia on December 3, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm.
