Freddie Ray Day

Freddie Ray Day, 78, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025. He was the beloved husband to the late Anna Marie Hostetter Day. He retired from the trucking industry in 2009, where he was both a driver and dispatcher. He enjoyed camping, golf, and woodworking, especially cabinetry. Freddie was quick witted, with a dry sense of humor. He mostly loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his granddaughter, Jacey.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Mildred Day; sister, Judith L. Booth; and brother, Clement G. “Sonny” Day.

Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Hendrix (Justin) of Fairlawn, and Elizabeth Day of Pembroke; granddaughter, Jacey Hendrix; and many other relatives and friends.
