Frederick Calvin Worth

Frederick Calvin Worth, 67, of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Fred worked for Diversified Industries for 19 years, Firestone Paving, and James River Limestone Quarry for over 20 years running the crusher. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, tinkering with old trucks, cars, and lawnmowers. He spent many hours building a large popsicle house, complete with furniture, and was a very good housekeeper in his own home. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lloyd and Lillian Evelyn Staton Worth; sisters, Sharon (James) Clark, and Faye (Jim) Hawkins; and brother, Donald (Barbara) Worth. Survivors include his son, Justin Michael Worth of Pocohontas County, WV; sister, Lois “Robin” Staton of Buchanan; brother, Mark (Patty) Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 19, 2025, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with the funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private in Fairview Cemetery.
