French David Kanode

French David Kanode, Jr, 49 departed this life suddenly on February 6, 2025. Born in Virginia on January 19, 1976 he was a son of David Kanode Sr and Kate Goering.

David was an artist who enjoyed expressing his artistic ability through the media of tattooing. He found reconnection of life in music, particularly in listening to Guns N’ Roses.

David is preceded in death by his sister, Kristy Kanode; step-mother Gale; step-father, Bobby Peoples; paternal grandparents, Margaret and Miles Kanode; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Viola Goering; and step-grandparents, Sarah and George Peoples, and Anor and Gracie Whittaker Price.

Left to cherish David’s memory are his father, David Kanode; mother, Kate Goering; children, Tiffany Pinion and Kloey Kanode; sister, Theresa Gentry (Warren); several grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
