Garrett Allen Scearce

Garrett Allen Scearce, 59, of Axton, Va. passed away October 26, 2025. He was born in Danville, Va. June 16, 1966, to Clyde Allen Scearce and Arlene Custer Scearce.

He is survived by his wife, Belinda Roach Scearce, sister Michelle (Dennis) Hyler, brother Bobby Scearce, nephews, Donnie Ray Chaney, Cameron Scearce, and Tyler Scearce, several great nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special caregiver Carrie Phelps.

Garrett was passionate about motorsports, classic cars and old movies. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and drag racing.

The family will have a private service in the future.

The family greatly appreciates the many years of special care and attention provided to Garrett by the staff of Martinsville Health and Rehab. We also appreciate the many visitors who spent time with Garrett.
