Gary Scruggs

Gary Stephen Scruggs, age 70, of 2112 Cove Road, Covington, Virginia died on Wednesday, July 10, 2025 at his residence.
Gary was born on March 25, 1955 to the late Harry Lynn Scruggs and Eula Maxine Fleshman Scruggs, and was a Signalman for CSX Transportation. He was a member of the Clifton Forge High School class of 1974, and loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by a sister, Donna Lynn Scruggs of Elizabethtown, KY; two brothers, Monte Wayne Scruggs (Cindy) of Maryland and Johnny Scruggs, Sr. of Covington; nieces and nephews, John Scruggs, Jr., Tessia Harris, and Jessica Scruggs; and great grandchildren, Jonathan, Conner & Bentley, and Paris Caudell.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There are no services planned at this time.
