Gary Wayne Radford

Gary Wayne Radford, of Salem, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. 

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and playing The Mega Million. Gary was employed with Roanoke City Sheriffs department for 17 years.

Those preceding him in death his wife, Dorothy Radford; father, Samuel Radford; mother, Aberdeen Radford; brother, Bobby Radford.

Gary is survived by his son, Chris Radford; granddaughter, Madison Radford; sisters, Sandy Gilbert and Francis Winston; good friend, Peggy Martin.

The family would like to thank everyone who has helped them and who has been there for them in this difficult time.

A Graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Garden, on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 1 p.m.
