Gary William Dodd

Gary William Dodd, age 63 of Callands, Virginia passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Dodd was born May 12, 1961 to Brenda Brown Dodd and the late Vincent W. Dodd. He was married to Jessica Steele Dodd, who survives at the residence.

Mr. Dodd proudly served his country in the US Navy. He was retired from the Currituck County, North Carolina sheriff’s office. He will always be remembered as a kind and loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to everyone who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife and his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Michele Shvets and Brandi Criswell; six grandchildren; his brother, Rodney Dodd; and his nephew, Caleb Dodd

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
