Geneva M. Huffman

Our sweet mom Geneva M. Huffman, 95, of Salem gained her heavenly wings on May 12, 2025, and is reunited with our dad in heaven.

A native of Virginia she was the wife of the late Victor T. Huffman, Sr. and the daughter of Claude and Leona McDaniel, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles McDaniel, Richard McDaniel, and Carl McDaniel; sisters, Vivian Kesler and Geraldine Conner; and son in law, Denny Dewease. Geneva was a homemaker who made a wonderful home for her family. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Roger, Michael (Debbie), and Jay (Debbie); daughters, Donna, Sharon (Todd), and Sheila (James); ten grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank the staff at Richfield and Good Samaritan Hospice for taking such good care of Geneva.

We would especially like to thank Patricia, Susan, and Sharon at Richfield for the special care they gave mom.
