Gentry "Buddy" Gene Lester

Gentry Gene “Buddy” Lester, 85, of Troutville, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 28, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lester Jr. and Cloa Blankenship Lester; brothers, Claude Lester, Halsey Lester, Paul Lester, Elwood Lester; sister Nellie Thomas; children, Michael Lester and Sherry Lester.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Eileen Shoemaker-Lester; children, Pamela L. Holland (Charlie), Ginger Brame (Teddy), Joanna Lester, and Amanda Lester; sister, Beulah Yost; and furbabies, Buddy, Jenny , and Coca; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
