Gerald Reed Fulks

Gerald Reed Fulks, Sr “Bunny”, 85, of Amherst, VA passed away on April 30, 2025, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Frances Marie Gilbert Fulks.

Gerald was born in Lynchburg, VA on February 10, 1940, to the late Frank Carter Fulks and Margaret Falwell Fulks. He joined the United States Navy and spent 10 years proudly serving our country. He was employed as a Carpenter by Smith-Wimer for most of his civilian career.

He is survived by his beloved children, Brenda Fulks Moore (Jerry) of Madison Heights, VA, and Gerald “Reed” Fulks, Jr (Sondra) of Amherst, VA and stepson, Bill White of FL. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Crystal Morris (David Moses) of Madison Heights, VA, and Tiffany Womack (Dean) of Lynchburg, VA. He also leaves behind a beautiful legacy in that of his two great-grandchildren, Treyke and Zoey Womack of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by his brother, Marion “Pokey” Fulks, of Lynchburg, VA, and his sister, Sarah “Missy” Donegan of Denver, CO.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Russell Fulks and his sister, Joanne Millner and his brother, Warren “Moe” Fulks.

Always the avid hunter and fisherman there are many tales to tell and there are many people that will cherish those precious memories they shared with him whether in a stand or on a boat he will always be there in our hearts.
