Gerald Richard Ewing

Gerald Richard Ewing, 83, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023. He was born November 22, 1939, in Washington, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles Raymond Ewing and Nancy Anna Emrick Ewing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Gilkerson Ewing. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years. He was a graduate of Trinity High School, in Washington, Pennsylvania. The hobby he loved most was spending time with the Patrick Henry Patriot R.C. Club. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing, football, spending time with his family and dearly loved his sidekicks, Bear, and Sissy, aka “little dog”. Gerald is survived by his daughters, Virginia Macedo (six children), Jackie Brichetti, her husband, Michael (1 child), Michelle Ewing (2 children); son, Jerry Ewing; and eight great-grandchildren.
