Gertrude Ellen Jordan

Mrs. Gertrude Ellen Gwyn Jordan, age 91, of Robbins, North Carolina, formally of Ararat, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Randolph Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Jordan was born in Carroll County, Virginia, on October 12, 1933, to the late Marion Gwyn and Margie Marie Gwyn. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that will be deeply missed. Mrs. Jordan is survived by her son, John Jordan of Robbins, North Carolina; grandchildren, Cindy Jordan, Tyler Jordan and girlfriend, Nicole, Trenton Jordan and finance’, MacKenzie; two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Wesley Jordan; sister, Virginia Goad, Barbara O’Neal; brothers and sister-in-law, Roscoe Gwyn, William Gwyn, Marvin Gwyn and Adell. There will be private visitation held for the family on Thursday, January 9, 2025 before leaving to go to the cemetery. The family will hold a graveside service in Eagle Springs, were she will be laid to rest beside her husband at Rock Hill Church on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 2 PM. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Jordan family.
