Ginger Leigh Bryant Carter

Ginger Leigh Carter, passed away at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA., on April 16, 2023.  She succumbed to a brief, hard fought battle with cancer and died peacefully surrounded by her family.  Ginger was born on July 20, 1948. 
Ginger is survived by her mother who has survived all her children and will turn 100 in June.  She is also survived by her husband, James Carter; daughter, Lindsey Carter Rosenthal (Jonah); and granddaughter, Harper Florence Rosenthal.

Ginger had many special people in her life, Patrick Evans, Angie Dunbar, Ann Custer, and numerous nephews and nieces. She also loved very much her special canine friend, Maggie.  

The family would like to thank the kind and caring staff of the Intensive Care Unit at Carilion Roanoke Memorial.

Burial arrangements will be private.
