Glen Dubose
Glen DuBose Glen Nicholas DuBose, 72, of Narrows, VA., was born on March 9, 1953, at Fort Belvoir Army Hospital, was called home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2025, after fighting his best fight against cancer.
Besides his parents, John and Pat DuBose, of Oviedo, FL., Glen is survived by his daughter, Shannon Thompson of Pearisburg, his son, Sean DuBose (Bernice) of Strasburg, a stepson, Chris Wood of Front Royal, his brother, “Stevie” DuBose (Nancy) of Ruther Glen, a sister, Cathy Stevens of Oviedo, FL., a brother, Wes DuBose of Oviedo, FL., 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Thompson, Jackson Thompson, Cameron Senseney, Tyler DuBose, Kayla DuBose, Levi DuBose and Ava Wood. Glen had two great grandchildren, Stellan Senseney and Dakota DuBose.
Glen was a Police Officer for 21 years in South East, DC., Seventh District before retiring for the first time, then went back to work as a Deputy U.S. Marshall at the Federal Courthouse in Martinsburg, WV.
Glen was a kind soul who always put his family first. You could find Glen at every soccer game, football game and would even squeeze in a baseball game if it didn’t interfere with soccer!
He loved to go camping, Kayaking, working out in his yard, and being outdoors in general.
Christmas was Glen’s favorite holiday and time of year. His house was always decorated fully and he loved for his grandchildren to help him with it. He always went above and beyond during the holiday season for his kids and grandkids. It put a big smile on his face to see them all open their presents.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
