Glen Robert Athey

Glen Robert Athey, 86, of Axton, VA passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Piney Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on April 12, 1937, in Power, WV to the late Francis Asbury Athey and Blanche Elizabeth Byers Athey. In addition to her parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Dadisman Athey; daughter-in-law, Misuk Athey; siblings, Francis Zane Athey and Vivian Jean Myers.

Mr. Athey was in the Potomac Trail Club.

He is survived by his sons, Todd Athey (Donna) of Axton, VA and Mark Athey of Clarksville, TN, several nieces and nephews, and his cat, Rascal.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Lee Ashley officiating.
