Glenn A. Mumpower

Glenn A. Mumpower, 78, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at Piney Forest Health & Rehab, Danville, VA. Born on November 2, 1947, in Danville, to the late Ruth Elizabeth Saggus and the late Charlie Floyd Mumpower, Mr. Mumpower lived most of his life in the Danville area, where he worked in insurance sales prior to his retirement. He was married to the Belinda McCubbins Mumpower, who survives, of the residence.

Mr. Mumpower will always be remembered as a devoted husband who loved his family and friends and was, in turn, loved by many. He attended Providence Methodist Church and proudly served this country in the U.S. Army while completing two tours of duty in Vietnam.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include cousins William and Daniel Mumpower, Linda M. Roe, Roxie Lee Farthing, Henry and Peggy Arnold, and Linda Erwin; sister-in-law, Phyllis M. Dalton; brother-in-law, Wesley Dalton, and special friends, Norman Wyatt, Kathy Worley, and Becky and Allen Wagner.
