Glenn Eugene O'Neil

Glenn Eugene O'Neil, 76, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on June 15, 2025. He was born on October 9, 1948.

He was preceded in death by his father Hammett O'Neil; mother Gertrude, and stepfather Fred Harkerader, his brother Mike O'Neil, his son Chris O'Neil; and stepson Steve Hutcherson.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret O'Neil; daughter, Kim Simeroth; and stepson, Mike Hutcherson and wife Jamie. He is also survived by his step daughter Patricia Hannah, and grandchildren Ryan Simeroth, Zach and Jessica Hannah (Josh), Tyler McFarland (Brittany), Wyatt Anderson (Caitlin), and great-grandchildren Landen and Hayden Damiano. Glenn is also survived by his nephew Brandon O'Neil, several cousins, and his aunt.

Glenn attended Christiansburg High School where he played football. He loved fishing, camping, and NASCAR. Glenn also loved his church, The House of Prayer, and was close to Pastor Gary and Linda Butcher.

Visitation will be held at Lotz Funeral Home Salem on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., with a chapel service to follow. Burial will take place in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
