Glenn Hiner

December 11, 1972 - June 19, 2024

Mr. Glenn Joseph ”Chipper” Hiner, age 51, of Covington, died Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at LewisGale Hospital- Alleghany, Low Moor. He was the husband of Penny Leigh Hiner.
Mr. Hiner was born December 11, 1972 in Hot Springs, the son of Jay Owen Hiner, Jr. and the late Debbie Baldwin.. A resident of this community for ten years, he was a former employee of the Bacova Guild where he worked in receiving and the Ink Department. Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and working on old cars in his spare time.
In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Hiner is survived by a son, Caleb Joseph Hiner and fiancé, Tamia McKoy of Covington; a sister, Melissa Auldridge of Hot Springs; three half-brothers, Brandon Pritt, Brycen Hiner and Braedon Hiner; a half-sister, Judith Riley and husband, Tyler; a sister-in-law, Melissa Groves; a number of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews including special nephew, Aydin Auldridge who made his home with them.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Hiner was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete Baldwin, Nina Baldwin, Jay Hiner, Sr. and Judith Hiner; his brother, Lee Jay Hiner and aunts, Jewel Brummet and Arlen Meade.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Loving Funeral Home
