Glenn Wayne Wiseman

Glenn Wayne Wiseman, 83, of Salem, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter A. and Lynette E. Wiseman; brothers, Charles (Dorothy), Walter S. (Jean), and Raymond; and sisters, Helen Eubank (Paul) and Ann Arrington (Bill).

Glenn is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sadie Smith Wiseman; daughter, Rebecca Wiseman and Ryan Phillips; brother, Maurice Wiseman of Danville, VA; sister, Charlotte Hutchinson of Salem, VA; sister-in-law, Louise Wiseman of Oak Hill, West Virginia; brother-in-law and wife, Lonza and Linda Smith of Vinton, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Glenn attended William Fleming High School class of 1960, served in the U.S. Army from January 19, 1963 to August 20, 1967, and worked for General Electric for 35 years.

Glenn enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting, and working in the garden.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, Virginia with Pastor Tim Gearhart officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem.

The family will welcome friends for a time of visitation prior to services beginning at 1:00 pm.

Memorials can be given in his memory to the American Heart Association or the Roanoke SPCA.
