Glenwood Hubbard Henry

Glenwood Hubbard Henry, 73, passed away on July 9, 2023. He was born on August 29, 1949 in Halifax County to the late Sarah Henry Edmundson. He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn Dixon Henry.

Glenwood was a member of Dan River Church and served as an usher in the church. He proudly served this country in the US Marines and worked for Flue Cured Tobacco as a supervisor prior to his retirement.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter; Veronica Henry of Anderson, SC., sister; Betty Wyatt (Freddie) of Capitol Heights, MD., two grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of friends.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his step-daughter; Kassandra Renee King.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 11:00AM at Dan River Church 2805 Riverside Drive, Danville, VA with Pastor Scott Randlett officiating.
