Gloria Eva Mcgee Sheffield

Gloria Eva McGee Sheffield, 83, of Ridgeway, Virginia, transitioned from this earthly life Sunday, August 17, 2025. She was born March 22, 1942, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to the late Joseph Leonard McGee, Sr. and Roberta Millard McGee.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, John Sheffield; son, Christopher Lance Allred; brother, Joseph Leonard McGee, Jr.; and great-grandchild, Alexys Jada Scott.

Gloria was a beautiful and loving mother, known for her gentle and nurturing spirit. Every patient she served for 40 years as an LPN was a recipient of her kindness. This caring trait even spilled over into the love she had for animals. She loved her chickens and gathering eggs, as well as caring for her puppy, Blaze. She was very creative, and it was evident in the beautiful crafting projects she made. Whether quilting or sewing, she poured love into every detail. She will forever be remembered for being happy and content where she was in life and has left a legacy of love to those who were blessed to know her.

Left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter, Cindy Stanley; son, Curtis Wayne Allred; grandchildren, Caitlin Mason (John), Leslye Allred, Trevor Allred; and great-grandchildren, Jaelah Breanne Scott and Luna Beth Mason.
