Gloria Warren Wickline

Gloria Warren Wickline, 80, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 31, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Opal Candler Warren; husband, Claude W. Wickline; and cousin Linda Hunter.

Gloria is survived by her sons Timothy Wayne Wickline and Cary Wickline; grandchildren, Cole Wickline, Autumn Wickline, and Kylee Wickline; sisters, Glenda Packo and husband Steve, Lynette Vaive and husband Jim, and Dixie Lee Kraemer; special cousins, Patti Craig and Dawn Warren, niece and nephews, Wesley Wickline and Rhonda Wickline.

Gloria was a member of Ridgeview Brethren in Christ Church where she played piano for 30 years at the church. She loved many things in her life family, Elvis Presley, cooking, and rooting her favorite driver on in Sunday’s race, Denny Hamlin.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in Gloria’s name to Good Samaritan Hospice or Carilion Hospice.

Services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at  11 a.m. at  Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Chapel. Interment will follow services at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Chapel from 6-9 pm. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Chapel. (540)366-0707.
