Gretchen Ferguson Chistwood

Gretchen Darnell Ferguson Chitwood, 52, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Richmond, Virginia. She was born May 30, 1971, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Leonard Ferguson, Jr. and Barbara Mitchell.Gretchen loved spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and she loved dogs.Gretchen is survived by her daughters, Vanessa Leighann Spencer, and Victoria E. Lawrence; son, Jeffrey Lawrence; brothers, Ronnie Ferguson, Ricky Ferguson, Jim Ferguson and Mike Heggins; grandchildren, Penelope, Mia, Odin, Dean, Charlotte, and Rhiannon; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Collinsville Baptist Church with Pastor Payton Gilbert officiating.
