Harry Eugene Trammell

Harry Eugene Trammell, 75, passed away at his residence on February 26, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on April 2, 1948 to the late Cora Phelps Trammell and the late Edward Willis Trammell. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mrs. Brenda Scearce Trammell.

Harry was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He also worked for many years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company previous to his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by a daughter; Wendy Barts and husband Richard; a son; Christopher Trammell and wife Cindy; a sister; Bonnie Wilson and husband Roy; four grandchildren; Kayla Barts, Zechariah Trammell, Anna Barts, and Dakota Trammell; and five great grandchildren; Bentley Barts, Naomi Morris, Gary London III, Baylee London, and Skyler Jones.

In addition to his parents, Harry is predeceased by two brothers; Clifton and Earnest Trammell.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 3:00pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1029 Halifax Road, Danville, VA 24540 with Reverend Allen Morris and Mr. Sammy Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 6-7:30pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence.
