Harsukh Patolia

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Harsukh Patolia, a beloved physician, dedicated educator, and cherished family man, who left us peacefully on the morning of September 25th, 2024 at the age of 57.

Dr. Patolia was a compassionate healer whose love for caring for others was evident in every interaction. His gentle demeanor and heartfelt empathy made a lasting impact on his patients, many of whom found comfort and reassurance in his presence.

As a passionate educator, he inspired countless medical students and residents, instilling in them the values of kindness and dedication. He believed that medicine was as much about compassion as it was about science, and his teachings will resonate for years to come.

Music was his language of love, and he used it to uplift those around him, creating connections that transcended words. Above all, Dr. Patolia was a devoted family man, taking immense joy in his role as a husband and father. He cherished every moment with his loved ones, and his family was his pride and joy.

Dr. Patolia is survived by his loving wife Shila and his children Harsh and Saloni as well as a host of friends and colleagues who will remember him for his kindness and commitment to making the world a better place.

A memorial service will be held on September 29th, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm,  at Simpson Funeral Home at 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019, where friends and family are welcomed to celebrate the life of this remarkable man. Dr. Harsukh Patolia's spirit will live on in all who knew him.
