Harvey Wilson Ratcliff

Harvey Wilson Ratcliff, 86, of Martinsville, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at his residence. He was born December 13, 1935 in Virginia, to the late Jessi Ratcliff and Hazel Eanes Ratcliff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marie DeHart; and brother, Buford Ratcliff. Mr. Ratcliff proudly served in the United States Army and was a member of Spring Street Baptist Church. He was employed by Lester Lumber Company for 35 years, and was also employed by Hooker Furniture Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Tim Simpkins. He is survived by his wife, Evelina Gibson Ratcliff; step-daughter, Shirley Marie Simpkins; step-son, Earl Guilliams; grandson, Jerry Hiatt; and great-grandchildren, Shane Hiatt, Jasmine Hiatt, Nikita Gardner, Trinity Bowman and Kylie Taylor.
