Helen Scott

Helen Mae Scott, 80, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Sovah Health Martinsville. She was born on April 7, 1945, in Franklin County, Virginia, to the late Raymond Lee Scott and Princess Ann Sink Ray. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Harmon and Gaile Cox; and her brother, Tommy Scott.

Helen was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed living the simple life.

She is survived by her son, David Lee Scott; two grandchildren, Justin Scott and Kaleigh Willard; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Amos, who was a second mother to David; one brother, John Paul Scott; along with a host of extended family and friends.
