Herbert Person Hall

Herbert Preston Hall, Sr., 79, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away surround by his family, Wednesday, December 11, 2024.  He was a son of the late Marshall and Dorothy Hall.    In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Hall and Marshall Hall, Jr., sisters, Barbara Chapman, Betty Ally, Louise Hall.
Herbert was a loving husband wonderful father, amazing Pawpaw and charismatic friend. He left a lasting impression on anyone and everyone who ever had the privilege of meeting and knowing him.
He loved to joke around and play, he loved hunting and fishing and playing cards, he would never back down from a game of Phase10.

Surviving are his sons, Herbert Hall, Jr. (Stephanie) and Gary Hall; daughter, Wendy Tuck (Frank); brothers, Bobby Hall (Christy), Carl Hall, Jerry Hall (Linda); sister, Ruby Hodges; grandchildren, Andrew Hall, Mark Hall, Gage Hall, Gavin Hawkins, Mikayla Hall, Sarah Hall, Zoey Hall; numerous nieces and nephews left to cherish his memory.

The family will receive friends from 11-12pm, Wednesday, December18, 2024 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road Roanoke, VA 2416.  Celebration of Herbert’s life will be held 12:00pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Lotz Funeral Home-Roanoke with Pastor David Jones officiating.  Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
