Hester Lou Wymer Milliner

Hester Lou Wymer Milliner, 78, of Chesterfield, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Lee Wymer and Emma Evelyn King Wymer; daughter, Joyce Milliner; and sister, Carolyn Wymer.Hester enjoyed sewing, tending to her flowers, and assisting with pastoring churches.Left to cherish Hester’s memory are her husband of 62 years, Douglas Milliner, Sr.; daughter, Mitsy Milliner; son, Doug Milliner, Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica Long (Drew), Joshua Spence, Mary Dooley (Richard), Heather Gattis (Mike), Miranda DiRienzo (Hayden), and Hunter Milliner (Becca); numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Brogan (Kenneth), and Janet Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 12 noon in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, with Pastor Gene Gillette officiating.
