Hilda Reynolds Nittler

Hilda Reynolds Nittler, 85, of Bassett, Va., passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, June 21, 2024. She was born July 3, 1938, in Partick County to the late Nannie Ratliff Martin and Hardin Estridge Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Lawson; and two brothers, Ellis and Doug Reynolds.

Hilda is survived by her daughter, Jackie Spencer of Patrick Springs; two sons, Ronnie O’Dell of Elizabethtown, Pa., and Johnny “Rex” O’Dell of Stuart; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one brother, Calvin Reynolds, along with many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Bassett Funeral Service chapel, where a funeral service will be conducted at 2:00pm with Pastor J.D. Walker presiding. Burial will immediately follow in Reynolds Family Cemetery, Patrick Springs, Va.
