Homer Henry Bryant

Homer Henry Bryant,88, of Salem passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

Homer was a simple man who never met a stranger and loved to talk to everyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Maggie Bryant; sisters, Gladys Porter, Ruth Ball and Ethel Crawford; brother, Cecil Bryant; stepson, David Slemons.

Surviving is his loving life partner of 47 years, Helen Slemons; daughter, Connie Rouse; son Russell Bryant; stepdaughters, Rhonda Garman (Kerry), Debbie Conway (Danny), Linda Sutphin (Dick); grandchildren, Colston Bryant (Allie) and Sara Bryant; great grandchildren, Lily Bryant and Orren Bryant; and numerous nieces and nephews left to cherish his memories.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 -12:00 pm, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Lotz Roanoke, 1001 Franklin Rd. SW. A celebration of Homer’s life will follow at 12pm, March 1, 2025, at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke with Pastor Melton Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Garden.
