Ieda Price Sturgill

Ieda Price Sturgill, age 82, of Blacksburg, died, Friday, May 26, 2023. She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on February 15, 1941, to the late William Vance and Ellen Smith Price. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Vester Sturgill; brother, Don Price; niece, Jennifer Price. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Lois Price; nephew, Jason C. Price (Nyoka), and their son, Atlas Zane Price; special friends, Nikki Giovanni, and Patsy Workman. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Blacksburg First Wesleyan Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
