Inest Mae Wiley

Inest Mae Wiley, age 63, of Blacksburg, died Monday, February 23, 2026, at Lewis Gale Medical Center. She was born in Portsmouth, VA, on July 21, 1962, to the late Robert Hurdle and Shirley Perdue. She was raised by the late Ernestine and Leon Sherman. She was also preceded in death by a special cousin, Arsenia Baker. Mae grew up in the New Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wake Forest. She is survived by her husband, Raye Winefred Wiley; daughter, Nekkia Hurdle; sons, Byron Hurdle, Robert Hurdle, and Brennan Perdue; sister, Tonetta Norman; brothers, Robert Lee Perdue, and Kenny Hurdle; as well as a host of grandchildren. Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the New Pentecostal Holiness Church, Wake Forest.
