Ingeborg Trelle Lee
Ingeborg Trelle (lee) Passed away on May 4th, 2025, at the age of 97 years, at Liberty Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. She leaves behind her beloved sister and niece: Elga and Karin Brown, who both side in Canda, one brother Carl Heinz and a sister Vera. She has many nieces and nephews across Germany and Canada. She was an aunt to so many and a nanny to so many more since she never had children of her own. Predeceased by her siblings Karin, Brunhilda, Walter, Dieter and her husband Al Pate. She was cared for by the Boyle family over the past several years and we can never thank them for taking such wonderful care of her when she wanted to stay in the USA near close friends and the life she had made in Virginia. The Boyle family provided us not only with constant updates but peace of mind knowing she was always in the best hands.Ingeborg Trelle was born on March 26th, 1928 in Badsassendorf, Germany, the eldest daughter of the late Emmi and Dietrich Trelle. Ingeborg lived during World War 2 in Germany and understood what it meant to work hard, go without, but get through tough times. She would get sent away from her own family during the war to help her aunt with her small children in Berlin while she was just a teenager herself. Years later, once settled in the USA, she would eventually settle down, find a wonderful man, become a Nanny and work for many families. She loved children but she never had any of her own. Taute Ingeborg will be missed for her kindness and her sweet. A special thanks to all those caregivers, nurses, physicians and any other care providers that made my aunts final days peaceful. A special mention and thank you to Jill and Liberty Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Centre. Our family cannot tell you how much we appreciate knowing there were caring healthcare providers on her side. Finally, we want to thank Mrs. Aura Boyle and her family again their generosity and care of Ingeborg when she needed it the most. Your thoughtfulness and kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you for making her last days dignified and peaceful, especially for celebrating her last birthday with a splash. As per Ingeborg’s wishes there will be no funeral. Entombment will be in Alexandria alongside her love and rock, Al Pate.
