Ivin Ferris Quinn

April 22, 1931 - July 28, 2023

Ivin Ferris Quinn, age 92 of Wirtz, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. He was born to the late Elsie Beaver and Ferris Quinn. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alma Belle Quinn, and his second wife, Joan Robertson Quinn; step-son, Randy Dalton; step-daughter, Shawn Gann. Ivin held many jobs throughout his life, the last being owner of Crossroads Food Mart, which he built and spent his last years enjoying. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Q. Webster (David); son and daughter-in-law, Rickey I. Quinn (Robin); step-son, Coleman Dalton; grandchildren, Amy Johnson, Jennifer Renick, Chad Quinn (Missy), Chris Dalton (Pearl), Aubrey Hasler (Aaron), Jessica Smith (Justin), Amanda Simons (Kyle), Cheryl Dalton, (Scott) and Drew Gann (Samantha); and 16 great-grandchildren. He loved his neighbors and customers and remained a respected resident of Crossroads in Ferrum. His greatest love was sharing his life in his lake house surrounded by his family, friends, and neighbors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Quinn Cemetery Fund at Maple Grove Church (Make check payable to: Sarah Hambrick, and mail to: 1875 Fairy Stone Park Road, Ferrum, VA 24088). Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2023 with Pastor Steve Pasley officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
