Jackie Barnes Tuggle

Jackie Barnes Tuggle, 89, of Greenwood County, South Carolina, formerly of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away December 18, 2023. She was born August 28, 1934, in Fair Bluff, North Carolina, to the late Edward Taft Barnes and Ruby Elizabeth Ellis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by loving husband, Otis Ray Tuggle; and daughter, Etta Irene Tuggle Inman.

Jackie was of the Pentecostal faith and was a former member of Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church in Axton, Virginia. She was a Sunday School teacher for Primary Class, she loved going to church, reading her bible, and was a fervent prayer warrior. She had a good sense of humor and was a very kind person who loved people. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, riding the pontoon boat on the lake, playing word search games, going to Cracker Barrel, and watching westerns.

She is survived by daughter, Patty Tuggle Nunn; Son, George Edward Tuggle, sisters, Betty Elkins, and Elaine Fields; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery, Ridgeway, Virginia with her Pastor, Brian Brock from Ninety-six Pentecostal Holiness Church, Ninety-six, South Carolina, officiating.
