Jackie Hodges

Jackie Hodges, age 63 of Wirtz went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, Teddy “Nelson” Hodges and Gladys Hodges; wife, Patty Hodges; brother, William Hodges; sisters, Gerry Hodges, Joyce Moody and Linda Hodges; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Louise Aker. Jackie is survived by his daughter, Dawn Campbell; son-in-law, Chris Campbell; special grandson, Brayden Campbell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen Hodges, Billy and Betty Aker. Jackie is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and several other family members and friends. Jackie was an avid Harley Davidson collector owner, NASCAR fan, hockey fan, drummer, and his greatest hobby was being a grandfather, “DA” aka papa. Brayden was the light of Jackies eye. Jackie never missed a soccer or basketball game nor the opportunity to spend one minute of time with Brayden. These two were thick as thieves and their bond and love was incredible. Jackie never met a stranger and would help anyone he could, he always had a smile and a good joke and a positive attitude. A memorial service will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Friday with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating.
