Jackie Lee Williams

Jackie L. Williams, 78, of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023. He was precededin death by his parents, Kenneth Arron and Clara Virginia Graham Williams; brothers, Kenneth Lindley Williams, Billy Lee Williams and Bobby Ray Williams.

Jackie retired after 30 years of service with the Virginia Department of Transportation. He was an avid outdoorsman and did he ever love his bowling.

Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Kathy Williams; daughter, Jacqueline Duckworth; grandsons, Harley Duckworth and Ethan Duckworth; brothers, Nicolas (Sharon) Williams, and Dwight "Ike"Williams; long time best friend, Doug Boothe; mother-in-law, Dolores (Dee) Dooley; sister-in-law, Darlene (Bill) Hartless; brother-in-law, Jerry (Juanita) Dooley; sister-in-law, Carolyn (David) Secrest; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2023 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Jeff Gardner. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Simpson Funeral Home. 540-366-0707
