Jacob K. Hollandsworth

Jacob Kirland Hollandsworth, 30, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was born on May 17, 1995, in Rocky Mount, Virginia, to Daniel Hollandsworth and Stephanie Stone.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Michael Stone and Wayne Hollandsworth; grandmother, Jean Keel; and two brothers, Cody Hollandsworth and Forest Via.

Jacob was employed at Lowe’s, where he worked in the paint department. He enjoyed playing games, walking, camping, swimming, and singing karaoke.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Stephanie Stone; father, Daniel Hollandsworth; grandmother, Marie Stone; brother, Justin Hollandsworth; sister, Lori Hollandsworth; along with extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Hermon Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Pastor Jason Alverson officiating.
