James Cecil Robertson

James Cecil Robertson, Jr. (Jimmy) age 76 of Rocky Mount passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital.He was born on June 19th, 1948 to James Cecil Robertson, Sr. and Paige Louise Hunt Robertson. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Karen Jefferson Robertson; daughter Jessica Bentley (Matt); step-daughter Kaelyn Dickerson (Drew); granddaughter Kennedy Paige Bentley and step-grandson Everett Matthew Dickerson; brother-in-law Joseph E. Jefferson, Jr.; sister-in-law Sharon Jefferson Frommel; special friend and great-nephew Jordan Frommel and several other special nieces and nephews.He attended Franklin County High School and National Business College in Roanoke, VA; was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church and was in the Virginia National Guard. He was payroll manager for MW/Ply Gem Windows and was a dedicated employee for 38 years.He loved to read, do crossword puzzles, and collected knives and guns.
