James Edward Douglas, Jr.

James Edward Douglas, Jr., 59, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at SOVAH Health in Danville. He was born February 7, 1963, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to James Edward Douglas, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Robinson. He was a General Contractor for over twenty years.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Malik Douglas; and sister, Justina Williams.

He is survived by his daughters, Atiya Douglas, Raven Douglas and Shante Dandridge; son, James Douglas, III; sister, Jennifer Robinson; brothers, Joseph Robinson and Jerold Douglas; and seven grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 12:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will be private.
