James Edward Flemming, 85, of Bassett, VA passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was born February 4, 1938 in Carol County, VA to the late Ed and Flossie Flemming.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gertrude Payne Flemming; daughters, Monica Wood and Lavonna Javonovich; son, Patrick Flemming; and many other family and friends.
James was of the Baptist faith.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA with Rev. Ryan Ware officiating. Family will receive friends at the home.
