James Leonard Ross

James Leonard Ross, 86, of Troutville, VA went to his heavenly home on June 12, 2024.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends whom he loved deeply.

James loved hunting, fishing and his garden. He was a former Virginia State Game Warden and retired from Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, VA.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Mount Union Cemetery in Troutville.

James loved his country and his values, especially his strength and determination, will continue on through all the lives he touched.
