James Patrick Nolen

James Patrick Nolen, 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. He was born on October 10, 1943, in Shooting Creek Floyd, Virginia, to the late Thelmer Jefferson Nolen and Essie Mae Williams White. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Terri Craig and Judy Sarratt and her husband Roger.

James is survived by his wife, Linda Weaver Nolen; children, Michelle Delmedico Daley (James) and James Patrick Nolen II (Tadeu Araujo); brother, Robert Nolen, Sr. (Brownie); and grandchildren, Caitlin Delmedico and Ella Delmedico.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the SPCA in James’s honor.

Services for Mr. Nolen will be private.
