James Rickie Conner, 65 of Copper Hill, Virginia passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025. May he find eternal solitude and peace in the ever after. Rickie was preceded in death by his father and mother James and Macie Conner of Copper Hill, Virginia. Rickie was survived by his sister’s Sue Poff, Elizabeth Perdue (Jay), and Freda Burr (Bryan), and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Much gratitude is sent to Sue Poff for her truly tirelessly kind and dedicated efforts in taking care of Rickie for the past four years after the passing of our mother. Sue was always there for Rickie, and we know he was truly grateful for her. Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, Virginia is taking care of the arrangements. A graveside service will be held at Restvale Cemetery, Copper Hill, Virginia on Monday at 11AM with Pastor Horace Light officiating.
