James "Toby" Norman Sigmon

James “Toby” Norman Sigmon, 94, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025. He was born on May 18, 1930, in Franklin County, Virginia, to the late James Norman Sigmon and Clara Theora Guilliams Sigmon. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Pate Sigmon; sister, Gladys Pate; and brother, Marvin Mansfield Sigmon.

Toby honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War with time served in Germany. He was a member of Fort Trial Christian Church.

Toby is survived by his son, Randy Sigmon (Susan); grandchildren, Dylan Sigmon and Emily Sigmon; brother, Ronnie Sigmon (Rosemary); sisters, Doris Montgomery, Ruth Walker, and Charlotte Austin; caregiver, Toni Kendrick; special friends, Judy and Charlie Sledd, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

The funeral will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Norris Funeral Services - Martinsville Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Danny Hart, Pastor Lee Ashley, and Keri Scott will be officiating the services. Burial will follow the service at Henry Memorial Park.
