James Vernon Pritchett
James Vernon Pritchett, of Collinsville, VA passed away on September 24, 2025. He was born in Cochran, GA to the late Isolene Sapp Pritchett and Hoyt Pritchett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Brackin Pritchett; son, Rodney Pritchett; and brother, Joel Pritchett.

I am thankful that in my life, the Lord blessed me with a great family, friends, and with love and respect for all. A special thanks to my friends, I am going to miss you all.
He retired from AkzoNobel and had worked in the Bassett area for years. He was a charter member of Collinsville Jaycee’s and a charter member of Henry County Bassmaster’s. He was a current member of The Fraternal Order of the Eagles and attended Stone Memorial Christian Church.
Surviving is his son, Robin Pritchett (Ceal); daughter-in-law, Bonnie; brother, Richard Pritchett; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and special friend, Judy Wright.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Roselawn Abbey with Pastor Tim Wood officiating.
