James Wesley Penn, 66, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023. He was born July 24, 1956, in Martinsville, to the late James G. Penn and Mabel Millner Penn. He had been employed by Hooker Furniture for five years. He is survived by his children, Rico Foster, Y'Kila Rivalte and Paris Scales; sister, Denise Penn; and brothers, Jesse Penn (Sabrina), Gordon Penn (Betty) and Dwight Penn (Tommie). The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 12 Noon at New Beginnings Holiness Church, 701 Perdue Street, Martinsville, Virginia, with Eulogist Alfred Eccles officiating.
